Weed Research Reports

Lassen County Weed Research reports are summaries of various trials conducted within northeastern California. These reports are divided into two sections, before 2008 and after 2015. Reports posted before 2008 were authored by Rob Wilson who is currently the Intermountain Research and Education Center director, who previously held the Farm Advisor position in Lassen County. Reports posted after 2015 have been authored by Tom Getts who currently holds the Cropping System/Weed Science Advisor position in Lassen, Modoc, Sierra and Plumas Counties.                                                                                                                        

The purpose of the reports are to update cooperators and weed management professionals on work conducted in northeastern California.  Experiment results can be used to help with weed management decisions, but the reports are not to be used as a University of California recommendation or endorsement.
