UCCE Lassen County Office
The University of California Cooperative Extension (UCCE) Office in Lassen County is located in uptown Susanville. David Lile is the UCCE County Director and Farm Advisor. His specialty is Natural Resources and Livestock, and he is a certified Rangeland Manager. He consults individually with farmers and ranchers needing advice and he carries out research on local problems.
The Lassen County 4-H Youth Development Program offers many fun and educational activities for its members. Darcy Hanson oversees this popular program which stresses citizenship, leadership, and life skills to over 200 members in our county.
